The rules were as follows:
1. No purchase necessary to enter.
2. One entry per person. The name, address and email must be real in order to win any prizes. A confirmation email will be sent out to each of the winners to verify that the address is correct. Each winner will have 24 hours in which to respond, before they are disqualified and another contestant is drawn (Please read Privacy Policy below).
NEW!!! By Proxy Participation: Contestants who can't afford postage may be permitted to submit their names by means of a Proxy entry. In basic terms, if you have an USA RESIDENT online buddy you trust, they can submit a postcard/greeting card for you. The information they submit must be as real as if it were your own to win a prize, if your name is drawn, so please be sure to that your Proxy contest entry representative includes your real email address for prize winning confirmation. Rule holds true, only one entry per person, but a friend could enter for you if you can't send your own in.
3. This contest is open to all ages, but those ages 13 and under are advised to ask their parents permission before they enter.
4. This contest is open to all nations that can be delivered to from the United States of America. Your mailing information must be correct, because prizes can and will not be replaced or duplicated.
5. All entries must be on a standard size postcard or a greeting card in an envelope, and mailed to:

6. Contest starts from November 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM (PST) and will end on December 15, 2007 at 3:00 PM (PST). Contest winners will be contacted and announced later that evening. First Name and Last Name Initial along with Country will be displayed on the contest page, and will remain there until the following year. Example: Grand Prize Winner, Jane D., of Country.
7. Mary E. Gober's immediate family members are excluded from entering this contest, as are the sponsors and prize contributors to this contest and their immediate family members, and the editors of my book and their immediate family members. Cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws, and grand parents may enter, but not the parents or siblings of the author, the sponsors, prize contributors, and "Mercury Brightman: The First Sign" editors.
8. Winners will be selected at random from a big bag by Mary E. Gober, (I may even video tape it).
9. Prizes are subject to change and be added to during the course of this contest. Please check back periodically for updated information.

Privacy Policy: No addresses, emails, or personal information will be shared/sold or distributed. The only person who will have access to the addresses and emails will be Mary E. Gober, (Author) so that the prizes can be properly delivered. Prizes can and will not be replaced or duplicated. When the contest is over, I may keep the postcards and greeting cards to display on my wall in my private home, and then used to send thank you notes to all who entered. After that the cards will either be destroyed or the confidential information will be blacked out with permanent marker.
